A Lowrider is a type of customized car that started in East Los Angeles around the 1950’s. Because it was economically difficult for some to buy new cars. used cars would be purchased for cheap and then customized into the beautiful machines that soon became known as low riders. They were characterized by lowered car heights and an installed hydraulic-type adjustment system. The tire or wheel also features a lower than standard diameter. while the car body appears large in contrast.
This kit from Hasegawa recreates one possible look that was popular around the 1960’s. It features flame decals to really make your lowrider shine. Order today!
